Margie, Thank you for your March 4 analysis of the desperate thinking, actions, and situation between Israel and the Palestinians, provoked by the hatred in Hamas vandals, enabled by Israeli blindspots, and perpetrated now by Netanyahu the snake. You are so correct and balanced and with great sorrow. rippling under tyour detached and sober rational judgement. One thing I would change re: the meeting of Netanyahu with Biden who went to Israel in so direct and meaningful an act of support. My memory is of Ihow cringed when Netanyahu embraced him; it was Netanyahu’s impulse and action and Joe Biden the feeling man was not quick enough to restrain or redirect it; he inadvertently allowed it, which in my opinion was one of many manipulations rapidly to follow. by Netanyahu. It’s astonishing to me that he has turned aside or publicly denied Biden and Biden’s suggestions and requests after the generosity shown by him. Meanwhile, so very costly is all this of human beings and hope, on both sides, and so sad the ongoing and fruitless struggle to complete the eradication of Hamas, with histories of corruption and turpitude all around.
